Drake Creative LLC is a multi-disciplinary design firm in Millbrook, New York, north of New York City. We specialize in three areas, branding and identity, website interface design, and environmental graphics, but the primary focus of all of our work is the translation of information into ideas.
ABOUT OUR BUG
The Green Drake (Ephemera guttulata) is a mayfly. It is particularly large – as mayflies go – so much so that it will draw the biggest fish to the surface of the water, a place these leery, savvy and hard-to-catch monsters seldom feed.
On some rivers the Green Drake hatch is the season's only opportunity at the really big fish. According to Art Flick, among the most famous of fly fishing writers: "it is the fly on some waters, and is the one for which many fisherman wait with the greatest degree of hope and expectation."
Like many of the greatest opportunities, the Green Drake hatch is brief, rarely as long as two weeks; the window closes quickly. Unlike the Green Drake, we work year round. It is the client you want to reach where the opportunities are brief and fleeting.
