Alexandra Tuller: Alex's role at Drake Creative is design and concept. She is also lead manager for most aspects of print and web production.
Educated at the University of Virginia and Phillips Andover, Alex began her career as a designer and production manager at International Media Partners in New York, New York, in 1992.
Prior to founding AMT Graphic Design in 1998 which was subsequently folded into Drake Alex specialized in publication design, with credits that include Euromoney's Emerging Markets newspapers, Thomson Financial's IFR Latin America, and AIG Trading Group's World Market Advisory, for which she was awarded by the 53rd Annual Graphic Arts Exhibition. Alex has also done a redesign of Foreign Policy for the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, as well as create newspapers for the World Bank, Bank's World, and the United Nations, Water Forum Shimbun. Alex's strong foundation in design and publishing have translated into website creation with an emphasis on beauty and navigability, always keeping in mind that the ego of the designer finishes a distant second behind effectiveness for the client's business.
Alex has also been very involved in pro bono work for charities and services organizations, including promotional materials for Rotary, the New York-based Urban Justice Center, the New York-based Asian University for Women, and the Nyack-based Kids Help Kids.
Dean Temple: Dean's role at Drake Creative is content and concept. He is also lead manager for most aspects of web functionality, copywriting, multiple media production, and live production.
Educated at Columbia University and the Lovett School, Dean has served as managing editor of Emerging Markets newspapers, editor of AIG Trading Group’s World Markets Advisory, a consulting editor for IFR Latin America, and senior editor of CEO/International Strategies.
Dean has worked extensively in researching, developing and writing content to match needs specific to a project or client in multiple media including books, film, board games, websites, music lyrics, cd-sleeves, advertising copy, theatrical backdrops and taglines. He has also worked in concept and development for numerous start-up publications, and created and produced the podcast Virtual Hudson Valley.
Dean produced the award-winning documentary Eternal Memory: Voices from the Great Terror, about Stalinist purges in Ukraine in the late 1930s, and he developed National Trash, a tabloid headline board game. He is also the author of The $130 Billion Game, a specially commissioned study on the practices of government sponsored gaming bodies worldwide. As a freelance writer, Dean has contributed to numerous publications including Africa Confidential, Southern African Decisions, Tennis, Penthouse, Mountain Sports and Living, the Gulf News and Avenue among others.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Dutchess County Arts Council and on the Main Street Revitalization Committee for the Poughkeepsie Area Chamber of Commerce.
